Luscious Living a Sacred, Sensual Sojourn
I arrived at the Source Tantra Boulder Creek Sanctuary, in the awe inspiring Santa Cruz Mountains greeted by Buddha, who reminded me to leave my shoes and worries at the door.
Then Charles welcomes me with a warm embrace and a hot bath that was ready and waiting for me. After driving eight hours from Palm Desert this was an oasis to my tired body.
I quickly leapt out of my clothes and slipped into the deep, steaming waters. Ahhhh it’s so wonderful to be with someone who appreciates the sensual and nurturing pleasures of life as much as I do. Quite refreshing after having just been in the desert where the heat was rapidly climbing. It was 110° when I left! Now nearly half that, I’m grateful for hot bathes, slippers and fireplaces!
As I soaked, he prepared some lovely shiitake mushroom raviolis in a cream sauce and served me. Truly in tantra heaven, we shared some wonderful Tantric massage and connections… the most profound of which were so subtle that our energies matched and activated the other through thought, breath and light, conscious touch. I remembered what it felt like to be so aware and alive in my skin. I realize again, how important the nurturing work I do truly is… especially when I get to be the receiver.
Charles gifted me with a beautiful candle holder made of clay and shaped like a yoni with an elephant head for the pearl. The elephant is Ganesh who represents going beyond all obstacles. He blessed it as he gave it to me telling me to light it when I am ready to commence rewriting my book.
Before going to sleep last night I prayed for a win-win to bring about the most beneficial value for all concerned with regard to all the publicity that I’ve been getting and will continue to get as I tour.
When I awoke the next morning, the first thought that came to my mind was a clear statement: write a tantric travel guide for lovers!
So here at my tantra teachers Temple I begin, and while I travel across the globe… over the next few months, I will blog my journeys and share with you my views on the most wonderful places, foods and services I discover along my Sensual Sojourn through life.
